While we are on the subject of suggestions, how about this one: All voters who oppose Gov. Janet Napolitano should vote for Libertarian gubernatorial candidate Barry Hess. I see no way that Len Munsil can close the gap, especially with moderate Republican women voting for Janet on the basis of their ovaries. That way, if Hess gets five percent of the vote, Libertarians will automatically be qualified for the ballot next cycle and save them lots of labor. Besides, anyone who has seen Hess in the debates would have to say he won the rounds.

While the politicans play their usual dirty tricks and silly games, WE the TAXPAYERS get stuck paying the bill.

What would be interesting is to find out why, if the other two candidates are so proud of their records or message, they have to take our money to advance to their cause?

Tucson Citizen Endorses Failure.

The Tucson Citizen, in a 466-word editorial, endorsed failure; in other words, they endorsed Janet for re-election as governor.

Let's look at their "reasoning" for this stunning endorsement.

“Education has been Napolitano's signature issue during her four years at the state's helm.”

Yep, Janet said she would give us her best on education.  Unfortunately, she did.  And her best took AZ education from 44th to 50th in the nation.  With another four years, who knows how low she can take us.  Is 51st out of the question?

It  was refreshing to see this reporter doing a better job of reporting, instead of distorting Barry's positions.

No doubt in this article about how many candidates for Governor there are.

Let's hope this is the start of a trend in fair reporting and not a one time event.

A well reasoned and articulate argument to vote FOR Prop. 207; Limiting Eminent Domain.

This is the kind of garbage that passes for modern, professional journalism?

What a load of crap! With media bias this blatant, no wonder main stream media readership and subscribership is down.

Let's see just how bad of a job Mr. Paul Davenport of the Associated Press has failed to uphold the standards of his profession.

An 839 word article in which 479 words are devoted to Janet (57% of the total), 330 words for Len (39%) and a mere 12 words for Barry (1.4%). The sole mention being: "Libertarian Barry Hess also is on the Nov. 7 general election ballot.". What kind of crap is that. And this guy calls himself a journalist? No wonder the main stream media is in the state it is. Hell, this guy could work for the AZ Republic.

Barry IS the Libertarian nominee for Governor. One of THREE candidates on the ballot. On the ballot, in the voter guide, during the debates, he is one third of the people's options to earn their vote. Does Mr. Davenport care?  Doesn't look like it.

Did Mr. Davenport contact Mr. Hess to inquire as to his position on education? NO! Did Mr. Davenport even attempt to research Barry's postion on education? Sure as heck doesn't look like it.

With reporting like this, it is understandable how one can only question the journalistic integrity of one Mr. Davenport and the AP for allowing reporting like this under their watch.
