According to pundits, Barry was the clear winner of this debate.
See for yourself:
I just wanted you to know that I wish everyone had seen the debate last night. You not only addressed the issues with intelligent responses, you also made us laugh. You won us over right away with your opening comments. You managed to keep us agreeing with you throughout the debate. Then, after showing support for 'one language', ending by showing respect for bi-lingual speakers was simply wonderful. Great job!
I also wish everyone would use their conscience when voting rather than automatically considering their vote to be wasted on a Libertarian. I think voting for a candidate you don't really trust is the wasted vote. I do not vote party lines, any party.
Last night was so wonderful for my family because we have a real Libertarian to vote for as our governor. In fact, if you don't win, we can see no noticeable difference between the other two candidates.
Thank you so much for the time and effort it takes to be a candidate. We hope to see you much more as the governor of Arizona.

Buck Wild: How Republicans Broke
the Bank and Became the Party of
Big Government
"I HAVE LITTLE INTEREST IN STREAMLINING GOVERNMENT," Barry Goldwater declared, "for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them." Today, Republicans hold the White House and a majority in both houses of Congress. But instead of reducing the size of government, they have embarked on a spending spree not seen since the days of LBJ. In fact, real discretionary federal spending increased by 25.2 percent during the first five years of the Johnson Administration, and by 35.8 percent during the first five years of George W. Bush. In Buck Wild: How Republicans Broke the Bank and Became the Party of Big Government, Stephen Slivinski exposes the excesses of this Congress, while suggesting that the cause of limited government may be better served by gridlock than by Republican majorities. Please join us October 26 for a lively discussion with author and former Goldwater Institute analyst Stephen Slivinski, now director of budget studies for the Cato Institute.
