HessForGovernor Eminent Domain Position Paper

This Land was your Land, This Land is "Their" Land.

“The limits of tyranny are defined by the endurance of the oppressed”, so said Frederick Douglas in regard to individuals being owned, as property.  His words are clear—when the oppressed finally stand up to their oppressors, there is but one outcome—FREEDOM.

The Supreme Court’s recent decision in Kelo-vs-New London marks what is probably the single most significant milestone in America’s devolution from a Free Constitutional Republic (*a written body of law based solely upon Constitutionally enumerated duties and functions, along with unequivocal limitations in regard to encroachment upon the inseparable natural Rights of each individual) to a Socialist Democracy  (*a doctrine of ‘mob’ rule, the Founding Fathers referred to as; the most vulgar and vile form of government where tyranny from the majority can ‘vote away’ a person’s individual Rights, privacy and property).

If ever there were a case for political evolution (survival of the strongest and most brutal), Socialism is it.

Socialism is a utopic delusional view that government can distribute labor, property, education and material resources ‘better’ than a community of individuals.  It dictates that your, or any individual’s Rights are totally non-existent and maintaining the government is more important than your very life—or those of your children.  A ‘Democracy’ can only exist in a Socialist society.

Our American Founding Fathers referred to Democracy as the most vile and vulgar form of governance where the individual, their progeny and all of their property actually belong to the government, to be disposed of at the whim of the voting or elected majority.

Now we have a nitwit president who publicly exclaims that he wants to export Democracy.  Wouldn’t be great if he’d export ALL of it?

For those victimized by the government welfare school system, welcome to the Socialist destruction you’ve imposed upon your self because you were never taught to think critically (and you thought it was ‘free’).   Here’s your lesson for today:

1)      Can any individual ever be truly free unless or until EVERY American is also free? (yes or no)

2)      Which department, agency or division of government is worth more than your life, or those of your family?  (pick one)

3)      Is the gathering of new revenue (from your earnings) by government more important than your ability to provide sustenance for your family?  (yes or no)

4)      If you get something for ‘free’ from government, who ‘pays’ for it?

    (a)   All the other suckers who submit to forcible financial rape through the overt theft that is the income tax.

    (b)   No one, it’s just ‘free’.

    (c)   Politicians, out of their own pockets.

    (d)   You do.

5)      What makes America unique unto all the world is:

    (a)   It’s geographic location.

    (b)   The principle of inviolable (by government at ANY level) private property ownership Rights on which you can do anything you want unless that activity harms another person, their Rights or their property.

6)      Eminent Domain was a concept designed to:

    (a)   Let lower lever politicians have their way with your belongings at their whim, or just to raise revenue or reward their friends.

    (b)   Authorize government to intercede if a private property owner uses the resources of his/her property to willfully damage or harm the property of other property owners, i.e., the upstream property owner dams up the river that flows through his/her property, that also provides a water supply for the downstream town.

7)      The Kelo ruling shows that:

    (a)   The Supreme Court has the lawful authority to legislate from the bench.

    (b)   The affirmative members of the Supreme Court have their collectivist heads other than on their shoulders.

    (c)   An individual has no Rights, property or principles unless he or she is willing to defend them—even to the death.

    (d)   A bunch of people wearing matching dresses can rule the world.

8)      A true Patriot is willing stand, to fight and even die in defense of their

country—even against it’s own government.  (True or False)

9)      You CANNOT possibly own any property or possession that can be taxed out from under you, or taken from you by government gun-toting thugs suffering from the ‘Little Hitler’ syndrome.  (True or False)

Sadly, the significance of this very poorly reasoned opinion that split the High Court 5-4 seems to have been completely lost on the average under-informed American.  That’s destructive, not just to the unaware, but to the future generations of their families as well.

Could the destructive significance of this ridiculous ruling really be lost on the American public? It appears as though it has been—after all, there are no torch and pitchfork uprisings in our communities aimed at this gross and intolerable decision.

Kelo lost, so what’s that got to do with me, you ask?  Everything.  If YOU let this nonsense stand, you will have completely signed over your property to the revolving door of politics.  You’ve already signed over your soul to government, oh well.

I did not sign over my soul! you exclaim?  Yes, you DID.  By going along with letting government Nazis forcibly take your earnings (personal income tax); you have shouted that you believe that ‘government’ (whatever that is) OWNS a percentage of EVERYTHING you produce.

But taking care of ‘society’, or ‘the children’ are what make us civilized, and the individual is insignificant, you say—just like you were taught in the self-serving government welfare schools.

The Truth is, programs and expenditures have never been ‘for the children’, they’ve always and only been for ‘the administration’ of those same programs.  The obvious tact for the administration is to keep the children in pain, so they can ‘continue to help’ the little children.  Are you getting this?  What if we instead concentrated on making parents aware of their own responsibilities and encouraged the ‘real’ (i.e. those that are voluntary, results-oriented and from the heart of individuals) charities to fill the needs?  Such an approach works unfailingly.

And, just so’s you know, ‘society’ is not a thing—it’s the reflection of a community of people.  Have you ever tried to change your reflection without changing you?  That’d be a trick.

It is hardly imaginable in a nation born when the People threw off the reigns of a government that held that all property was the property of the King we would witness the spectacle of having come full circle.
