Why Barry Hess for Governor of Arizona is Important to Me.

I am not a resident of Arizona, so it may seem strange that I should be concerned about whom you elect as governor of your state. It matters to me because, in my state, I will not have the opportunity to vote for someone who believes in the principles of individual freedom, personal responsibility, and small government.

I will not be given the ability to vote for someone who believes the government should keep its hands off your property; who believes that your money is yours to keep, not the government's to spend; who believes that you, not the government, should be in charge of your children's education; who believes that the government is not a vehicle by which other individuals can impose their values on you.

You see, none of the candidates running for governor in my state believe those things. They may talk about them; but our candidates all believe that more government is the answer. Barry Hess believes that less government is the answer. Our candidates ask you to trust them. Barry Hess trusts you. If you believe in individual freedom, person responsibility, and small, accountable government; if you believe in the principles enshrined in the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, vote for Barry Hess. Make him your governor and make Arizona a shining example of what our nation can be. By electing Barry Hess, the people of Arizona will send a message that government is once again "for the people." Send that message and, hopefully, next election I will be able to vote for someone who believes in the things that Barry Hess does, the real American values.
