Keep it running! Donate today!

Friends:

Things are happening fast and furious here... and you can help us keep it going! So far, we've raised well over $1800 dollars in just 36 hours.  Our first radio ad is already running on the air, all weekend long!  Listen to it right now!

We want to keep this running right up until the election, so we need your help!  We have ideas for at least 2 other radio ads, both of which we can produce for free, so the only thing we need to fund is the airtime we buy.  For every $100 you donate, we can run an ad all day on some stations, and in prime spots on other stations... We'll be running the ads on the full spectrum from 'left' to 'right' radio stations. Plus we've got print ads coming which we will be buying from those who have done fair and equal coverage... We need to fund all of these, and we need your help NOW.

Reminder: Proceeds from this fund raising drive will be used to purchase spots in reputable media sources that have fulfilled their civic and moral duty to completely, accurately, and fairly report on the race for Governor of Arizona. These funds will not be used to attack the position or programs of Janet Napolitano (D) or Len Munsil (R). The ads will specifically target the media bias of and the way the Arizona Republic has abused the right of the public to have all of the facts about all of the candidates; not just those that support the Republic's editorial biases and its desire to steer government policy and public opinion.

If you are a Democrat, please help us fight against Big Corporate Media Bias! I know you believe in that strongly, and so do I! Donate today, and you can hear our ads running on AirAmerica right now!

If you are a Republican, watch Gary Tupper speak about how some Republicans were biased against during the primary by the Arizona Republic. Read Mike Harris' endorsement of me for Governor... He feels I'm a real candidate, so why doesn't the Arizona Republic treat me like one? Visit our donation page and help us out!

Libertarian? You have been dismissed as "irrelevant" by the AZ Republic. This campaign, as well as our philosophy, is being either attacked or just plain ignored, not just for our views, but because we failed to take so-called "clean" money away from the taxpayers, to fund the campaign. We believe in voluntary donations and we need you to make one NOW.

I've been in every debate, and I'm holding my own. Pundits on all sides are saying I've won both of the 3 way debates so far. It has become clear that my toughest opponent in this race is neither Janet (D) nor Len (R). It's the secondhand reporting/coverage of the debates, primarily by the newspaper of record, the Arizona Republic, that distorts our message, and attempts to marginalize any prospect of 3rd party gains. But most importantly, the poor coverage violates the inherent right of the voters to judge for themselves by having all of the facts to consider.

The AZ Republic wrote, "Don't blame yourself if you haven't heard of Hess or much about his politics." Somehow, it’s supposed to be our fault when they refuse to give fair and equal coverage to all candidates on the ballot. You see, since Libertarians all over the state are standing on our principles and refusing to take so-called "clean" election funding out of the pockets of taxpayers, we are not being considered "legitimate" candidates running "real" campaigns. Never mind that they also ignore all of our outreach events (or report them as only taking place at "gun shows"). Never mind that they ignore endorsements, fund-raisers, press releases, and all of the other tools that we use exactly the same as the other candidates. Somehow we just aren't campaigning "hard enough" for them to take notice. They don't include us in the polls, and then complain that we don't poll well. The only standard they seem to pay attention to is how many dollar bills we take from taxpayers and then spend on advertising with them. That's wrong.

The actions of the AZ Republic, a big corporate media player, owned by Gannett, are unconscionable.

I'm tired of it, I'm sick of it, and I'm fighting back. Our campaign will be attacking public enemy #1, the true opponent of true 'clean elections' by an informed electorate, the Arizona Republic and their clear biases in reporting the facts and figures.

Now is the time to step up to the plate. We need to send a strong message to Big Media that we aren't afraid to go after them directly, and no longer play along waiting for them to throw us a bone once in a while.

On Nov 7th, every voter in Arizona will have three choices for Governor, not two.
Our goal: We will make sure the public knows which reporters can count to 3, and who just stops at 2. (Sometimes, they'll count to 2.1, or 2.5, and then tell us we're lucky they even mentioned us)

Help us send a strong message that "We're mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore!" Donate now. Even a very small donation will go a long way in paying for our print and radio ads. As little as $100 will keep an ad running all day long on some stations.
